Mr and Mrs Mearing

At the beginning of September Helen and I had the pleasure of photographing Mr and Mrs Mearing.
Paul and Nicky are a perfect match for each other, both revelling in each others company and making each other smile with a glance.
The wedding day was wonderful, the weather was gloriously sunny and what better location than The Sandbanks Hotel on the gorgeous Jurassic Coast of Dorset.
The ceremony was full of laughter, tears and happy memories followed by a day relishing in the company of their family and friends. Helen and I would like to thank Paul and Nicky for allowing us to be a small part of their day it was truly a pleasure. As always onto the images and here are some of my favourites from the day.............

Thank you for taking the time to view the images.

Reunion

Last month I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a 20 year reunion of the Hixson family. It was a fun filled day with classic games such as egg and spoon and sack races as well as live entertainment, hog roast and copious amounts of delicious things to drink.
Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy catching up and there many clusters of excited conversation and stories to bridge the time since they were last together.
I sincerely hope that this will become a tradition for all as it was a great success. Thank you to all for allowing me to be apart of it, as always onto the images and here are a few collages of some of my favourites.......

Thank you for taking the time to look at the images, I hope you enjoyed them.

New Forest at sunset

Last week I went out to the New Forest to have some relaxation time with my camera and a good friend.
I love picking my camera and having  no pressure once in a while and the sunset was beautiful so we had a play with silhouettes and this is the end result.......

I hope you enjoyed the images.

Engagement session

Last week I was very lucky to meet up with the wonderful Nicky and Paul who are getting married later this year.
It was as if we had ordered the sunshine which promptly arrived for around an hour on an otherwise grey, windy and gloomy day so off we went to explore down on Sandbanks beach.
I would like to thank Nicky and Paul for such a fun hour, I haven't laughed so much for a long time and am very much looking forward to their wedding in September.
So onto the images and here are some of my favourites from the session......

1st Birthday

Two weekends ago I was asked by a friend to photograph her sons first birthday.....how could I resist with such a cutey.
The birthday was held in a village hall in Dorchester and had the perfect afternoon tea feel, with plenty of toys for all his play friends to explore and lots of yummy treats to indulge in the whole crowd had a ball.
Later in the afternoon a musician arrived as a surprised and was a wonderful children's entertainer and got everyone of all generations involved with tamberines and clapping.
At the end of the day with all his guests sleeping the birthday boy slept blissfully unaware as people departed leaving gifts and exchanging hugs and kisses all round.
Happy birthday I hope you enjoy many more wonderful parties to come.............

Mr and Mrs

Here is another wonderful wedding that I was privileged enough to be apart of.
The Bride and Groom had decorated with such taste and put so much thought into the finer details.
The entertainment that they had for their guests was second to none and was a joy to be apart of.
The Bride looked stunning in her pale pink wedding dress and with the assistance of Natasha Clark Hair (http://www.natashaclark.co.uk/) her hair was wonderful with real pink roses situated in the curls.
The whole day had a relaxed natural feel and all the guests reflected their love and emotion for the couple throughout the day.
Congratulations again and onto some of my favourite images from the day.....

Thank you for taking the time to look, I hope you enjoyed the images.
