Hannah and Ben Engagement Session

Earlier this year two of my friends were planning their wonderful big day. I was honoured that they had entrusted me to capture their wedding day so took the opportunity to go down to the beach (where Ben proposed to Hannah) and capture some pre-wedding shots. The afternoon had beautiful sunshine but was windy and freezing, both Ben and Hannah were great and braved the weather.
Here are some of my favourites from the session.......

Thank you for taking the time to look.

Collins Family

Just before Christmas I had the pleasure to go out and photograph the Collins family for a surprise Christmas present. We had a great time exploring Upton Country Park and they have beautiful new gardens. As the present was a hit I can now share some of my favourite shots from the day, I hope you all enjoy

Mr and Mrs Mcloughlin-Huxtable

At the end of last year I had the privilege to to photograph my very best friends wedding.
We first met at school (probably too many years ago to remember) and have been great friends ever since. Through the years we have faced the worst of times and the best of times together, sharing tears and laughs throughout. It has been a wonderful pleasure to be apart of her life and now the life of her own family.
The morning before the wedding was very calm with a mass of people preening, straightening, applying a hint of mascara and finally putting gorgeous dresses on.
Jacqueline arrived on time to the ceremony which in itself is a miracle and anyone that knows Jacqueline's time keeping would agree.
The ceremony was beautiful, lead by a vicar who knows the family well and whom has been apart of their lives for sometime needless to say the tears and laughs continued to be a theme throughout the day as the gorgeous couple pledged their vows to each other.
Jacqueline and Andrew left the church a married couple. Beginning the rest of their lives with 2 gorgeous children and a 3rd due in less than a month the rest of their lives sounds like a wonderful place to be apart of and I cant wait to share it with them.
A massive congratulations to Mr and Mrs Mcloughlin-Huxtable.

Thank you for taking the time to look at the images, I hope you enjoyed them.

Mr and Mrs Mearing

At the beginning of September Helen and I had the pleasure of photographing Mr and Mrs Mearing.
Paul and Nicky are a perfect match for each other, both revelling in each others company and making each other smile with a glance.
The wedding day was wonderful, the weather was gloriously sunny and what better location than The Sandbanks Hotel on the gorgeous Jurassic Coast of Dorset.
The ceremony was full of laughter, tears and happy memories followed by a day relishing in the company of their family and friends. Helen and I would like to thank Paul and Nicky for allowing us to be a small part of their day it was truly a pleasure. As always onto the images and here are some of my favourites from the day.............

Reunion

Last month I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a 20 year reunion of the Hixson family. It was a fun filled day with classic games such as egg and spoon and sack races as well as live entertainment, hog roast and copious amounts of delicious things to drink.
Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy catching up and there many clusters of excited conversation and stories to bridge the time since they were last together.
I sincerely hope that this will become a tradition for all as it was a great success. Thank you to all for allowing me to be apart of it, as always onto the images and here are a few collages of some of my favourites.......
