Family Photo Fun

On Saturday I met Linzi and her wonderful family at Poole Park. It was a glorious day with gorgeous blue skies and sunshine. We met by the pond and worked our way around stopping at various points to play and pose for photo's. The young boys were such pro's and I honestly couldnt believe that they hadnt had professional photographs taken before as they were naturals. I thoroughly enjoyed this shoot and it is always my one favourite types as it is so relaxed and such great fun.
So onto the images and here are a collection of my favourites from our session.............

Thank you for taking the time to look.

Miss B Portrait Shoot

Today I had the pleasure to spend the afternoon with a wonderful friend and her very cheeky and gorgeous daughter.
After a cuppa and a catchup we headed down to Coy Pond to stretch our legs and exercise the hound at the same time. Obviously I couldn't resist taking my camera to get some snaps as we haven't had the opportunity to take photo's of Miss B since she was a baby. Thankfully I did take my camera as she was a perfect model and thoroughly enjoyed posing and then seeing the photo's of herself.
We managed to create a mix of posed and natural shots which I hope her parents enjoyed.
Really cant wait to head out with her and her brother next time for a sibling photo shoot.
Onto the images and as always here are a few collages of some of my favourites from the day....

Thank you for taking the time to look at the images.

Mr and Mrs Lockyer

On 5th August I had the pleasure to attend my cousin wedding and witness Sam marry the girl of his dreams Kathy. They chose to get married at Parley Manor which has the most glorious gardens.
The weather started out dry but cloudy, progressed to a huge downpour after the ceremony and revealing the sunshine at around 5pm
Even though i was invited as a guest and not a photographer, I couldn't help taking my camera.
The professional photographer did amazingly well given the rain but left before we had started our meal. As the sun came out I couldn't resist asking Sam and Kathy to take a few shots in the sun and  to my delight they agreed.
During the evening reception Kathy knowing that Sam is a massive boyband fan (especially Take That) had organised a Take That tribute act which was a surprise for Sam. The band were fantastic and they got Sam and his best men and ushers up on the dance floor dancing to the routines - fantastic fun for all.
Sam and Kathy looked beautiful and took what the day handed them in their stride. I would like to wish them a  huge congratulations and wish them all the happiness for the future. Hope you enjoy your honeymoon in Thailand.
Onto the images, here is a collection of collages of my favourites that I captured from the day.........

I hope you enjoyed the images.

Christening

On fathers day this year Elijah and Pearl were christened at St Michaels Church in Hamworthy.
It was a wonderful day with a fantastic ceremony and followed by celebrations at Lychett Rugby Club.
These are most of my favourite bunch of little people and I can never resist taking my camera when they are around.
Since they were very small I have documented my best friends children's lives at special events and personally maybe a little bias but I think they are gorgeous!! I am working on an album for each of them to have when they are older to look back on.
Below are a collection of my favourites from the day.....

Hope you enjoyed the images.

Portland Bill - Dorset

Following on with my resolution to capture more images of my family this year I took my grandparents for a day trip to Portland Bill down the coast from Weymouth.
We had a really lovely day walking around, taking in the view and stopping for a lovely lunch. We were so pleased with the weather as the views were just gorgeous. We are very blessed to live in such a beautiful place and treasure our Jurassic Coast in Dorset.
Here are a few collages of our day.........

Mr and Mrs Whitingham

Following on from Hannah and Ben's engagement session the big day finally arrived to say 'I do'
My friend Helen and I worked to capture the essence of their special day beginning with preparations. I went to meet the ladies at Hannah's parents house. The atmosphere was very calm and I was sure panic would ensue at some point but I was delighted that the calmness remained and we were soon at the church. Hannah had plenty of help for final touches and with tears in their eyes her parents could have burst with pride.
The ceremony was wonderful with lots of cheerful hymns and laughter. Thankfully the weather was beautiful so onto to Bulbury Woods Golf Course for the reception. Everyone had a blast and after a very emotional first dance we retreated to let the bride, groom and all of their guests enjoy their celebrations into the early hours.
Another huge congratulations to Mr and Mrs Whitingham, I hope you enjoy all of the years of happiness to come.
Onto the images and here are a selection of story boards to show their wonderful day.....
